Kenya Classic Flying Safari – Masai Mara & Amboseli

On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Nairobi Hotel for an overnight stay. This is an ideal opportunity to relax and acclimatize before your adventure begins the following morning.

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Wilson airport to catch your morning flight to Masai Mara. The Masai Mara is engulfed with breathtaking landscapes and a high concentration of wildlife of various species including antelopes, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants and big cats. Arrive at camp for lunch. Enjoy your lunch freshly prepared by our trained team of chefs. Later, join your guide for an afternoon game drive. As you explore the many dimensions of the Maasai Mara Ecosystem, your Guide will share stories about the wildlife and the Maasai culture. Return to camp in time for a delicious three-course dinner. After dinner, gather around the fireplace to listen to the meditative rhythm of the Maasai chanting.

Join your Masai guide for an early morning game drive in the Mara trying to spot any animals you may have missed the previous day. For bird watchers, this is the best chance to see the numerous bird species found within the reserve. Return to camp for breakfast. Round off your adventurous day with a visit to the Masai Village, a $30 fee is required. This tour offers you an opportunity to visit the Masai people and witness their way of life. You will also have a glimpse into their Manyatta (homes) and social structure. Later, a campfire will be lit, entertainment from both Maasai women, children and warriors of the village follows with a chance for you to join in their dancing. Head back to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, return to the wilderness in search of some exciting game experiences.

After breakfast, Enjoy your last game drive en-route to reach Olkiombo Airstrip in time for your scheduled afternoon flight to Amboseli National Park. Arrive at Amboseli National Park in the late afternoon with welcome views of Mt Kilimanjaro. Start with a short game drive en-route to your Lodge. Arrive at the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast will spend the day in Amboseli National Park. Head out on morning and afternoon game drives in search of the wildlife. Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Other attractions of the park include the spectacular views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro - the highest free-standing mountain in the world. The park is also is home to gazelles, buffaloes, lions, leopards, wildebeests, zebras, among others. The presence of a permanent swamp makes hippo sighting and birdlife in Amboseli also abundant. You will have lunch and leisure break at a scenic spot to observation hill for the peak of Kilimanjaro which may be seen in clear weather. After lunch, proceed for another gamed drive experience. You also have opportunities to meet the Amboseli Maasai tribesmen. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.

On the final day of your Masai Mara & Amboseli safari, there will be time for the last game drive at the foot of Africa's highest mountain and the last photos before breakfast. After breakfast, enjoy some downtime before lunch is served. Then your guide will drive you back to the airstrip to catch a flight back to Wilson Airport for your onward flight adventure to another holiday destination or international connection back home.
